Idiots vandalising ancient Aboriginal rock art in Flinders Ranges
- Sacred Canyon, 19km from Wilpena Pound, holds a “journal” of Aboriginal history in its rock engravings, but have been graffiti attacks over recent years. Adnyamathanha Traditional Lands Association chief executive Vince Coulthard said that for nearly 20 years, the Adnyamathanha people had wanted to restrict visitors to the site to protect the works. “It’s sad our culture and our history is second best in this country,” Mr Coulthard said.
