The Block' to house 500 university students in 16-storey tower as part of new plans
- The Aboriginal Housing Company has lodged an application with the Department of Planning to increase the size of a development opposite Redfern station. Plans approved in 2012 paved the way for a six-storey, mixed-use building to house about 150 students in 42 units. But the development would increase to 16 storeys and include more than 500 bedrooms under the new proposal.
