Heat take football to eager indigenous kids - A NEW program has been launched by the FNQ Heat at Cairns West State School in an effort to increase indigenous participation in the round-ball game. Helped by funding from Football Federation Australia and Football Queensland, the Heat has created a “lunchtime club” to help spread the gospel of football at a school renowned for its multicultural student base and high indigenous enrolment.
