- The Tunnerminnerwait Project: Bringing His Story Home’ is the name and objective of a year-long research mission that’s swept up the school’s history and English extension and visual art classes.
Liaising with the Circular Head Aboriginal Corporation, retired lecturer Dr Ian McFarlane and Marrawah local Robert Saltmarsh, students have pieced together the life and ultimate demise of Tunnerminnerwait, an Aboriginal resistance fighter from Robbins Island.
